Veterans honored Everyday by these Organizations

Spotlight on Fisher House Foundation, Honor Flights & Paws for Purple Hearts

As we honor our veterans here in the US, I thought it appropriate to turn the spotlight on some of the organizations who honor veterans everyday.  There are many.

Service Dogs for Veterans

There are many great organizations around the world, that train service dogs to help veterans.  This moving commercial from The Royal Dutch Guide Dog Foundation, has had over 6.5Million views on YouTube.  It highlights how dogs can help with the injuries that can’t be seen.

Fisher House Foundation

Fisher House Foundation is best known for a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment.

Honor Flight

I recently had the privilege of witnessing the arrival of an Honor Flight.

Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials.

Thank you Veterans for your service, here in the US and around the world.
